Rosie knew her destiny lay in jewellery from her early teens. The Brighton born accessory designer eagerly wanted to get into the business as quickly as possible, so she studied a foundation course in Gemmology and qualified as one of the youngest gemmologists in Europe, aged 17.
As a result of her newfound passion, Rosie decided to combine her love for gemstones and fashion, leading her to study at The London College of Fashion for the next 3 years.
The former LCF graduate credits her strong family influences for directing her towards specializing in gemstones and jewels.
Maida Vale based designer Rosie Fox made her name in 2006 when she set up her own label and launched her distinctive vintage inspired jewellery. This year she celebrates her fifth year in the jewellery business and 2011 promises to hold many more exciting times, with plans to launch her traditionally British designs in New York.
Rosie Fox is defined by its authentic British heritage fused with upcoming trends and vintage charm. Rosie prides her collections as being affordable luxury, and her aspiration is to continue creating "impulse buys".
This year has proved to be "full of highs", for the Rosie Fox team, with the company going from "strength to strength" and the only hard part of the year being around Christmas because they were "so busy and the phones wouldn’t stop ringing".
The Rosie Fox collections embrace everything 'vintage, glamour and gorgeous', including beautiful florals, vintage inspired jewellery, statement hair accessories and new on trend bags. Many of the key pieces adorn Rosie Fox’s signature fox, rose and "made with love" heart charms.
The next 12 months looks set to hold even more excitement and challenges for the Rosie Fox team, as she plans to expand the business and develop more business ideas in New York- "my long term plan is defined and definite and I constantly work to achieve it".
